It isn’t without flaws; we would love to have seen the front cover stay closed with either a magnet – preferred – or a clasp. However, this front cover does automatically sleep and wake your phone when you open or close it, which we think just about makes up for it.

The official leather pocket (BlackBerry code ACC-49276-201) is something that is always released for every BlackBerry phone, however this one comes with added style and functionality.
The increased height on the BlackBerry Z10 means this pouch looks sleeker than usual, and its padded but firm leather build will keep the Z10 well protected. Where this case is smart though is when you slide it in and out, similar to the official Flip Shell, your phone will be put into sleep mode or wake it up to help save battery and improve ease of use of your Z10.

Case-Mate Barely There Blackberry Z10 Case
Case-Mate have released quite a few case designs for the BlackBerry Z10, but its their ultra-slim ‘Barely There’ case that makes it into our top 5 BlackBerry Z10 case list.
The Barely There has a matte black finish which is soft to the touch, despite this being a hard case, which means you will be more comfortable using the phone and also have an increased grip on it.
Whilst this case will not offer much when it comes to impact resistance, it will help to keep the unique Z10 backing free from scratches and scrapes whilst hardly adding any weight or bulk to the phone.

Genuine Blackberry Z10 Transform Stand Case
The official BlackBerry Transform case (BlackBerry code ACC-49533-201) is one of the most unique cases that we’ve seen for any device, and we really like the design and the build quality of it. Its stand is genuinely practical and detaches nicely from two of the corners to offer a more comfortable viewing angle for watching films or TV shows. You can see this better explained in our video review of the product.
The back, sides and corners will stay protected and the screen will have some protection should you drop it face down thanks to raised edges.
Overall, the build quality is superb and it feels great to touch and doesn’t add much weight or bulk either.

The OtterBox Defender is one of the toughest cases that you’ll find for the BlackBerry Z10, and it makes its way into this best BlackBerry Z10 case list for sheer protection alone.
If you’re looking for a slim case that won’t add weight or bulk, this definitely isn’t for you.
